he fourth cohort of TALY Corps volunteers, selected from a pool of fifty applicants, arrived at the training camp today for program orientation and preparation. They will begin their work in early March, providing educational support to FRAM teachers in nine rural schools located across eight communes in the regions of Atsimo Andrefana, Vatovavy, Boeny, Alaotra Mangoro, and Vakinakaratra.We extend our sincere appreciation to Résidence Madalief for hosting our training program at their beautiful location and to our partners, MNS Foundation, Conservation Fusion, Anjiro Initiative, and Lemur Conservation Network, for their collaborative efforts and support in our mission to tackle educational challenges in rural communities.LET’S CONNECT: TALY CORPSTALY CORPS is a three-month program designed to support rural teachers, particularly FRAM teachers, with educational materials and the capacity to create a positive and interactive learning environment. The program recruits and trains volunteers under two cohorts each year. From its inception in April 2021 until February 2024, TALY Corps has produced 30 volunteers under four cohorts, 80% of whom are female.
